TEKNIC 2 piece suit.
Comprising 1) The "Spider"
jacket, size 52 (I like lots of room).
It is a pretty useful piece of
kit in that the outer jacket is GoreTex lined, is fully waterproof, and
comes with a detachable storm collar. It is removed by undoing a couple
of poppers and a full length zipper.
The inner jacket is mostly mesh,
but contains the CE approved armour at the elbows, shoulders, and a back
protector. This is fantastic on hot days and proved invaluable last year
for me in Germany at constant 30 deg C temperatures.
The trousers can be zipped into
the back of the jacket. They are also GoreTex lined and waterproof and
come with removeable braces.
The suit is a generous fit and
would suit someone over 6 feet tall and not shy of the odd fish supper.
The suit is a year old, was used
once for the Germany trip mentioned, then "garaged" as i got my BMW kit.
Retail for the jacket is £199,
the pants £149.
