England
XIII was formed in November 2005 by a small number of England IV members living
in the Midlands who were finding it difficult to attend chapter meetings on the
south coast.
Although a relatively new Chapter, as membership grows they will be having their own fund raising events to raise money for their nominated charity, the Warwickshire Air Ambulance. They also attend the BMF Show where they organise a recruiting and advertising stand for the UKIC.
England XIII members attend Blue Knights® events throughout the country and abroad. In particular the COPS Lawride each year. They also organise an annual national ‘Meeting of the Chapters’ held in the historic and beautiful towns of Stratford upon Avon and Warwick.
The England XIII badge was specially designed to reflect the general area in which the chapter operates; the Bear and Ragged Staff of Warwickshire, the Elephant and Three Spires of Coventry and the Tudor Rose of Northamptonshire.
They meet on the first Sunday of the month at Barby Sporting Club, Barby, Northamptonshire and at various venues around the area so that members living on the fringes don’t have far to travel. A hearty breakfast is followed by a ride out to somewhere interesting.
