Started by the first Blue Knight in the UK, its membership has been spread somewhat wider than most other chapters. Andy Green was the first Blue Knight and worked long and hard towards developing the club in the UK. The early members, such as Bob Brown and Martin Abbott,  Chris Bolton and Trevor Heywood, and all the other new Knights, worked hard and also created the first UK rally at Edale in Derbyshire.

Trevor is currently President of England One, Chris Bolton a member of England Five. Andy is no longer a member and we would love to track down Bob Brown to pass on the regards of people he met from the USA! (If any of you out there have a contact email or address for Bob or Andy please let us know so that we can pass it on!)

England One members created the first tranche of new chapters around the country, England Two, in London, Three in the North East and Four in Hampshire.

England Five was the first of the of the second tranche, and demonstrated that chapters can be quite close and still have great sociable relationships with their mother chapter. Chris Bolton was the second President of England One and served a long spell before handing over to Harry Shone, from the Wirral who seemed to be there forever, but who is sadly missed by his friends.

Alan Kinsey took over, a tremendously hard working President who moved the chapter on socially with the sheer effort of his work rate and welcome for other Blue Knights. Trevor Heywood created and maintains the national group mail BK-UK@yahoogroups.com
